Location: Bronx, NY | Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, Day shift | Compensation: $63K-$78K per year Overview A school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its team in Bronx, NY. This role plays a key part in helping students build communication skills essential to their learning and development, and new graduates are welcome to apply. What you'll do Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to identify and assess speech and language difficulties Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes tailored to each student Provide individual or group therapy using techniques like articulation drills, language stimulation, and play-based interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs and overall development Maintain progress records, write reports for IEP meetings, and communicate findings Required qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Strong understanding of child development and typical speech and language milestones Preferred qualifications Pediatric experience preferred, but not required Compensation and benefits $63K-$78K per year Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401K plan Life Insurance PTO (sick and vacation time) Tuition Reimbursement School schedule with 6 weeks summer and administration days Staff discounted daycare for 2.0-5.0 children Employee Assistance Program (EAP)VTL/STD/LTD (Short/long term disability) MAT leave (Maternity leave) Why this role This position offers a supportive school schedule with extended summer time off, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's communication development, with new graduates welcome to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group, SPG
