Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will undertake a range of responsibilities aimed at promoting emotional and relational well-being among clients and their families. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address various emotional and relational challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Performing comprehensive assessments to qualify relational dynamics and emotional struggles, enabling you to devise personalized treatment plans aligned with recovery goals.
• Implementing family systems theory to foster effective communication strategies, conflict resolution techniques, and coping mechanisms that can aid clients and their families in the recovery process.
• Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals—including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians—to ensure cohesive and holistic care across all treatment disciplines.
• Providing immediate support and crisis intervention during acute phases of rehabilitation, utilizing de-escalation and support methodologies.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, documenting progress notes and treatment plans in line with ethical and legal standards.
• Educating clients and their families regarding the emotional aspects of rehabilitation, coping strategies, and methods for strengthening familial bonds.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential for this position:

Compensation and Benefits
