Communications Coordinator

Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Brookhaven, Georgia, is seeking a full-time Communications Coordinator to manage and support parish communications across print, digital, and social media. Working with the Pastor, parish staff, OLA School and Preschool, ministry leaders and parish organizations, this position helps ensure clear, timely, and consistent communication across the OLA campus. Key responsibilities include: Managing and updating the parish website Producing the weekly bulletin and e-newsletter Managing parish social media and digital communications Promoting parish events, ministries, and initiatives Coordinating communication schedules and content Supporting parish branding and messaging Working with staff and ministry leaders to gather and distribute information Staying current with emerging communications tools, platforms and media through formal and informal continuing education Candidates should have strong writing, editing, organizational, and digital communication skills. A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant professional experience.
