About the RoleJoin a dynamic enterprise team as a Messaging Administrator in Plano, Texas. As a critical member of our Messaging Production Support Team, you will manage, support, and optimize core messaging platforms to drive the reliability and performance of mission-critical business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced messaging professionals seeking to expand their skills in IBM MQ, Kafka, and TIBCO within a collaborative, hybrid work environment. Responsibilities - Provide operational and technical support for enterprise messaging technologies, focusing on IBM MQ, with exposure to Confluent Kafka, TIBCO, and IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
- Design, build, configure, and administer robust IBM MQ environments across Linux and Windows platforms
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in distributed and complex enterprise messaging environments
- Contribute to the support and administration of Confluent Kafka and TIBCO platforms as business needs evolve
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, ensuring production environment stability and high performance
- Develop automation scripts using Python or shell scripting to streamline operations and improve productivity
- Implement monitoring strategies, track key operational metrics, and conduct performance tuning for messaging systems Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise messaging administration
- Proven expertise in designing, building, and administering IBM MQ environments
- Hands-on experience supporting production environments with 24x7 on-call responsibilities
- Strong proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Practical knowledge of scripting or programming languages (Python, shell scripting)
- Familiarity with IBM Integration Bus (IIB), Confluent Kafka, TIBCO Rendezvous (RV), and TIBCO EMS
- Experience with middleware tools such as meshIQ Navigator, Atrium Orchestrator, Dynatrace, Splunk, and JIRA Preferred Skills - Prior experience with advanced monitoring and automation solutions
