LAB SUPERVISOR - VALLEY HOSPITAL (FULL-TIME)

Job Description Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. Acts as general supervisor over assigned lab activities and requires no direct supervision, able to work alone. Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science is preferred. Qualifications Three (3) years experience as Medical Technologist or Clinical Lab Specialist. One year supervisory or two (2) years lead experience required. Technical Skills General bench technology skills required to provide coverage in all modalities. License / Certification Certified as general supervisor under Nevada State Board with MT (ASC) or equivalent registration. Other Requirements Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide high quality patient care (age-appropriate competence). Possess people skills, organization and attention to detail.
