Software Engineer - Halifax

Salary: $90,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring at least 2 years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or integrating complex systems.
• We have demonstrated success building and supporting production-ready software with clear modular boundaries, such as separate services for parsing, logic, and reporting.
• We are proficient in at least two major programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Go, or Java, and we work confidently with SQL databases.
• We have practical experience developing in live, non-simulated environments and managing multi-step system interactions.
• We consistently show exceptional attention to detail and can deliver precise, high-value technical feedback on intricate system behavior.
• We bring experience in multi-stage coordination workflows where information gathering leads to reasoned outputs.
• We are comfortable working with persistent state and session discovery, including using MEMORY.md to track agent progress.
• We can identify subtle system risks such as privacy leakage, authority escalation, and indirect prompt injection.

• We help train advanced generative systems by providing human feedback that improves AI agents.
• We support the development of proactive, multi-step agents capable of coordinating complex real-world workflows.
• We contribute to projects that teach models how to design, manage, and optimize architectural processes.
• We collaborate with AI teams to strengthen the performance and reliability of large language models.
• We evaluate complex system behaviors and deliver concise, detailed technical observations.
• We work on live integrations and agent workflows that connect to external tools and APIs to solve practical problems.
