Locums Anesthesiology Physician in Richmond, Indiana - 8 Hour Shifts, Broad Case Mix

Work daytime anesthesiology shifts with a varied inpatient case mix and additional coverage anticipated into 2027.

Highlights

• Daytime coverage with 8 hour shifts
• Adult volume averages 9 to 10 patients per day
• Healthy pediatric volume averages 0 to 2 patients per day
• Additional coverage anticipated into 2027

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient anesthesiology setting with one assistant and no CRNA
• General anesthesia and OB cases
• Vascular surgery and cath lab coverage
• Healthy pediatrics, occasional NORA, and basic nerve blocks

Schedule

• 7am to 3pm shifts
• Multiple coverage blocks requiring full commitment
• Weekend call included during one coverage block
• No New Years Day coverage required

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology within 5 years of residency
• Active Indiana license required, or active IMLC LOQ
• BLS required, with ACLS required for conscious sedation privileges

• Rental car and airfare are covered, with drive in candidates preferred
