We're looking for an Electrical Estimator to help us win the work that fuels that growth. What You'll Do Prepare complete electrical estimates for industrial and large commercial projects - takeoffs, labor units, material pricing, and vendor/sub quotes Review bid documents, drawings, and specs to identify scope, risks, and opportunities Build clear, competitive proposals alongside our Director of Estimating and project teams Present and defend your estimates directly to management and customers Support pre-construction handoffs so awarded work starts on solid footing What We're Looking For 3+ years of electrical estimating experience (contractor side preferred) Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC, and construction documents Accubid proficiency is a major plus - tell us about it Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Google Suite is a plus Field background (apprenticeship, journeyman, or PM experience) is a bonus Detail-driven, deadline-reliable, and comfortable owning a bid start to finish Employee ownership - you share in what we build Competitive salary, full benefits, and real growth as we scale toward major expansion A team-first culture built on grit, honesty, and craftsmanship Company Benefits United Electric Company offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits designed to support your career growth and well-being, including: Paid vacation time: 1 week after 90 days of employment Paid Personal Time Off (PTO): 6 days per year Company-paid health, dental, vision insurance, Short-Term Disability (STD), and Group Life insurance Company match for the Health Savings Account (HSA): $1.30 match for every $1.00 you contribute, up to the IRS maximum 401(k) with company match after 3 months of employment Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) allocation after the first year waiting period Yearly Bonus Consideration Laptop and other necessary equipment All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status #J-18808-Ljbffr Synectics Inc.
