What You’ll Do:

• Front Desk Patient Services Representative to support a busy dermatology practice in Newport News, VA.
• This individual will serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, with a heavy emphasis on answering and managing incoming patient calls.
• Answering and managing high-volume inbound phone calls (25-150 calls/day)
• Checking patients in and out
• Assisting patients with appointments and general inquiries
• Documenting and navigating patient information within ModMed EMR
• Providing administrative support to the front office team
• Learning additional front desk functions to provide backup coverage as needed
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused experience for patients
• Collaborating with a team-oriented front office staff

 

What We’re Looking For:

·      ✔️ 1+ years of patient access and customer experience

·      ✔️ Experience with  registering patients

·      ✔️ High school diploma or GED required

·      ✔️ EMR experience preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
