CSC Customer Service Spec 1

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to support a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for answering public and internal inquiries, dispatching work requests, and monitoring environmental security systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, composed under pressure, and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Answer calls from internal staff, visitors, and the public with professionalism and courtesy. Document and dispatch incoming work requests accurately. Monitor environmental alarms, including doors, gates, parking lot intercoms, and CCTV systems. Assist with coordinating workflows and assignments for transport staff. Participate in special projects to support department goals. Provide actionable feedback to leadership to improve processes and maximize team efficiency. Handle difficult situations gracefully, providing conflict resolution when necessary. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: 1+ year of required experience. Previous administrative support, customer service, healthcare, call center, or dispatch experience is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; ability to comprehend instructions and correspondence easily. Work Style: Ability to thrive in a stressful, fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer service focus. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Requires periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to stoop, climb, and lift light materials or equipment (10 to 20 lbs). Indoor environment with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, temperature changes, or noise. Standard indoor safety conditions (no exposure to respiratory particulates or bloodborne pathogens).
