Medical Device Assembler

Medical Device Manufacturing Technician

Pay rate: $19.25 per hour

Shift timings: Mon-Thur | 4pm to 2am

Training: Mon-Thur 8am to 4:30pm

Work mode: Onsite

Duration: Long term assignment with potential conversion to permanent employee

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
• Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies.
• Ensure strict adherence to procedures, documentation accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7th grade reading and comprehension level required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn and work with a microscope, as 80% of the role involves microscope use.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with head-to-toe gowning provided by the company.

Preferred Skills:

• Entry-level assembly aptitude (medical device experience a plus).
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic quality awareness and inspection skills.
• Reliability and ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.
