Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students within a 35-mile radius of Medford, Oregon, including Ashland through Eagle Point and Grants Pass. Two passionate specialists are needed to serve as Autism Consultants for K-12 students, drawing on deep experience in Special Education, behavioral intervention, and autism-specific practices.

In this onsite, full-time opportunity, you will collaborate with schools to provide expertise for students across the autism spectrum—serving both high-functioning learners in integrated settings and those with greater needs in self-contained classrooms. By conducting autism assessments, informing individualized education plans, and mentoring school staff, you’ll have a profound impact on student outcomes and school communities.

What we’re seeking:

• A master’s level Special Education Teacher, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), School Psychologist with TSPC licensure in Oregon, or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with focused autism training.
• At least three years’ experience working directly with K-12 students on the autism spectrum, spanning a range of ages and severity levels.
• Skill with autism evaluations and measurement of educational impact.
• Expertise in designing interventions and supports based on both research and practical classroom realities.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite and travel within the region.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough autism assessments and contributing to IEP development.
• Consulting with educators and support staff on evidence-based approaches.
• Providing direct and indirect services to students, adapting interventions as needed.
• Supporting professional development and creating materials for ongoing staff training.
