Job Description
Title: Sterile Processing Technician - SPD

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
- Previous community hospital experience required.
- Travel experience is required; prior travel preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with instrument tracking, sterilization processes, decontamination, and tray assembly.
- High-level disinfection and scope/probe reprocessing experience.
- Knowledge of steam sterilization, monitoring, washer/sterilizer use.
- Experience supporting OR and Ambulatory Surgery Center workflows, including robotics and laparoscopic sets.
- Experience with Epic preferred.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation required: 40 hours.
- Call required.
- Floating to similar units as needed.
- Pre-approved time off allowed: 1 day (per contract).
- Pending NM/compact license accepted but must be obtained prior to start.
- Labs required within 48 business hours after contract signing.
