Occupational Therapist Contract Position

Step into a rewarding contract assignment where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will directly support preschool learners' development in an engaging early childhood setting. This position centers on providing specialized OT services for a caseload of 23 preschool students, all within a single building, fostering collaboration and consistency.

As part of this supportive environment, you'll operate Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., allowing for balanced workdays with predictable hours. The role commences in November 2026 and continues through the month, with a pause during Thanksgiving week and the possibility to extend into December based on the school's needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license
• Experience providing OT services within a school and/or preschool setting preferred
• Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for young children
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers and families
• Familiarity with early childhood intervention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on OT assessments and interventions for preschool-aged students
• Develop and monitor individualized goals tailored to each child's unique needs
• Consult and coordinate with classroom staff and families to optimize student progress
• Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and support IEP development as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for early learners
