We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individualsto work as seasonal regional supervisors for Black Rocket technologycamps. We strongly encourage those who have completed or are workingtowards their supervisor or principal certification to apply! This is a summer seasonal position and you are expected to workthe entire summer, following the prevailing local school districtsummer break schedule. Black Rocket will TRAIN you! Regional Supervisors are enthusiastic, organized, and motivatedindividuals. They are confident in their ability to superviseinstructors, as well as interact with students, parents, and programdirectors. All applicants must be 21 years of age or older and haveexperience with managing schedules or events, experience managingadults, and evidence of strong people skills. The ideal candidatewill also have a background as a school supervisor, schooladministrator, teacher leader, or similar. Knowledge of effectiveinstructional practices and strong problem-solving skills are aplus. A strong tech background is also a plus, but not required. Our supervisor for the Northern VA area will also overseeprograms in the southern portion of Fairfax County,Fredericksburg and Richmond . Travel to these sites can beexpensed for reimbursement.
