What You'll Do

Provide high-quality nursing care tailored to ICU patients, respecting privacy and adapting communication for diverse patient needs
Use the nursing process effectively to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Educate patients and families using appropriate teaching strategies
Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Manage nursing resources efficiently, demonstrating leadership and professionalism
Utilize clinical data to evaluate care and suggest improvements
Perform duties involving exposure to blood and body fluids in a healthcare setting

What You Need

Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications (12-month blue card)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, ICU experience preferred
Strong communication, computer, and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience with EPIC documentation and clinical specialty certifications
