Work You’ll Do As a Project - Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation on the project, you will: Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build and deliver custom-built software solutionsParticipate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practicesUtilize the client Development Operations (DevOps) systems and tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.) to ensure compliant code and ensure best practicesSupport a portfolio of applications from a holistic standpoint to understand various complex product requirements, mitigate challenges and integrate softwareDevelop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web ComponentsDesign, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST and SOAP APIsCreate and maintain system documentation, including solution design, technical specifications, and test plansTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs related to Salesforce applications and integrationsStay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and functionalities, and evaluate their applicability to our organization’s needsWork closely with both design and quality assurance The successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to others The Team Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field5+ years of experience using web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or ReactExperience must include the use of back-end languages such as Java, Python, SpringExperience must showcase a thorough understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patternsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureActive TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required to startAbility to be on site 100% of the time in Chantilly, VA Preferred: Experience writing data driven tests, mocking, and unit testingExperience cloning, branching, committing, and submitting pull requests with GitFamiliarity with DBMS technology, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQLAgile development on a scrum team experience, using Agile project management tools (JIRA), and CI/CD pipelinesExperience creating and consuming REST APIs that meet performance and security requirementsFamiliarity with Salesforce development tools and technologies, such as Salesforce DX and Git The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,000 to $170,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
