Commercial Loan Operations Specialist

San Diego, CA | Onsite

Temporary Contract

Pay: $26-$28/hour

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Position Summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Operations Specialist to support a well-established financial institution in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial lending, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage loan files from application through closing. This role is responsible for ensuring loan documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Review commercial loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, clients, and third parties to obtain required information
• Process and maintain loan files throughout the lending lifecycle
• Communicate with borrowers regarding outstanding items and application status
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations, policies, and procedures
• Prepare and review loan closing documents and assist with closing coordination
• Maintain organized and accurate loan records
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient loan processing operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial loan processing experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Symitar, LaserPro, and/or LaserPro SBA preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
