Customer Service Representative - Builder Field Service

Start your new career as a Customer Service Representative – Builder Field Service with MAU in Charlotte, NC. As a Customer Service Representative, you will support customers, builders, technicians, and internal service teams by managing routine service and warranty requests from initial contact through scheduling, follow-up, and completion.

• Pay of $20–$22 per hour

• Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Assignment of at least 6 months

What We’re Looking For:

• 0–2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, order entry, scheduling, or a related field

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines

• Professional, customer-focused attitude

• Ability to ask questions, gather information, and clearly communicate next steps

• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

• Ability to quickly learn new software and systems

• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM/customer service system preferred

• Experience with scheduling software or ticketing systems preferred

• Call center or service-oriented environment experience preferred

• Familiarity with construction, builders, home services, warranty work, or related industries preferred

What You’ll Do as a Customer Service Representative – Builder Field Service:

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels

• Gather information about service and warranty issues and accurately document requests

• Enter and update customer and service information in the company’s CRM system

• Schedule and reschedule service appointments based on technician availability

• Communicate appointment confirmations, updates, and next steps to customers and builders

• Collect and update construction schedule information from builders and superintendents

• Review service requests, determine appropriate next steps, and escalate complex or non-routine issues when necessary

• Coordinate parts and other resources required to complete routine service requests

• Track parts orders and communicate updates regarding availability, delays, and backorders

• Follow up with technicians, installers, customers, and builders to confirm service completion

• Ensure service requests are properly documented and closed out

• Maintain accurate records while following established procedures and company policies

• Identify recurring service issues and communicate opportunities for improvement to leadership
