About the Role:

The Clinic LPN/Physician Practice role at Wagoner Community Hospital is essential for delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This position involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. The LPN will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, and assisting with various medical procedures. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with patients and their families to provide education and support regarding treatment plans. Ultimately, the LPN will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes and contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Certification in a specialized area of nursing, such as pediatrics or geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic medical procedures.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring that the necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and available.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting care provided and any changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, medication usage, and follow-up care instructions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
