Keep Production Running at a Family-Owned Cheese Manufacturer

Join a close-knit team in Schiller Park as the go-to Industrial Maintenance Mechanic on first shift. You’ll keep high-throughput processing and packaging lines operating safely and efficiently through smart troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and hands-on support for day-to-day operations.

What a day can look like

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on heavy production equipment, from conveyors to servo-driven systems.
Use your knowledge of 120/208/240/480 VAC to safely trace faults, perform electrical troubleshooting, and complete equipment installation and wiring.
Execute preventive maintenance plans that reduce downtime and extend asset life.
Leverage PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and VFDs to pinpoint faults and fine-tune performance.
Support the operation during lulls by organizing the parts room, managing spare inventory, and updating tracking tasks and records.

Schedule

Tuesday – Saturday (50-hour work week)
Sunday & Monday are off days
