The building is home to a variety of amenities, including restaurants, a fitness center, and collaborative workspaces, creating a vibrant and dynamic work environment in one of Chicago's most iconic areas.Role OverviewThe Sr. Director, Growth Marketing Analytics and Automation leads measurement strategy, attribution, and performance insights across Cboe's digital marketing ecosystem, and oversees marketing automation and email marketing as a core program area. This role owns the analytical framework that connects paid, owned, and earned media investment to business outcomes, translating data into insights for senior stakeholders including EVP and C-suite audiences. The Sr. Director partners closely with content strategy, paid media, web/CMS, and agency teams to ensure marketing investment is measured rigorously and optimized continuously — while also directing the strategy, platform administration, and execution of Cboe's email marketing and automation programs. Additionally, this role owns and creates all dashboards used in business and executive reporting.Your responsibilities will be:Measurement & AnalyticsOwn end-to-end measurement strategy across paid, organic, web, and email channels, including attribution modeling and multi-touch performance analysisBuild and maintain executive-ready reporting frameworks that translate channel-level metrics into revenue and risk narratives for EVP/C-suite audiencesPartner with paid media and agency partners to define KPIs, budget scenarios, and ROI models for major initiatives (e.g., product launches, brand campaigns)Establish governance and standards for tracking, tagging, and data quality across marketing platforms (web analytics, marketing automation/email platform, Sprout Social, CMS)Identify measurement gaps (e.g., message-match, cross-channel attribution, third-party platform limitations) and drive solutions in partnership with data/IT stakeholdersServe as the marketing function's analytical thought partner to content, paid, web, and automation teams — not just a reporting resourceRepresent marketing analytics in cross-functional forums, distinguishing marketing's embedded analytical needs from enterprise data infrastructure ownershipMarketing Automation & EmailOwn the marketing automation platform end-to-end (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), including administration, CRM/Salesforce integration, and platform roadmapDefine and lead email marketing strategy — segmentation, personalization, lifecycle/nurture journeys, and triggered/behavioral campaigns — aligned to the broader customer journeyBuild and manage automated workflows across the customer lifecycle (onboarding, retention, re-engagement, cross-sell) in partnership with content and product marketingOwn the email calendar and resolve competing requests across content, comms, product marketing, and brandSet and enforce deliverability, compliance, and data hygiene standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, list management, sender reputation)Run a continuous A/B and multivariate testing program (subject lines, content, send time, segmentation) to improve engagement and conversionReport on email/automation performance (opens, clicks, conversion, revenue attribution) as an integrated part of the overall measurement framework, not a siloed channel reportThe ideal candidate has12+ years in marketing analytics, performance marketing, digital measurement, or marketing automation, with 6+ years in a leadership roleProven experience presenting to senior executive audiences in a regulated or complex enterprise environment (financial services preferred)Deep fluency in attribution modeling, marketing mix concepts, and multi-channel measurementHands-on platform administration experience with a marketing automation/email platform (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot), including campaign build, journey/automation design, and CRM integrationExperience owning email marketing programs end-to-end — strategy, segmentation, lifecycle campaigns, deliverability, and complianceWorking knowledge of email compliance/regulatory requirements (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL); regulated-industry experience a plusHands-on experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics 360, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio), social listening platforms (e.g., Sprout Social), and CMS-driven measurementStrong track record partnering with agencies on budget and performance strategyExceptional ability to translate complex data into concise, decision-ready narrativesMBA a plus, not requiredBenefits and Perks of working for Cboe Global MarketsWe value the total well-being of our people – including health, financial, personal and social wellness. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $219,725-$323,125, with actual compensation determined by job‑related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe's long-term equity programs.
