Legal Assistant

Required Skills & Experience

Responsibilities:\n- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions\n- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information\n- Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs\n- Manage case files, ensuring all documents are organized and up to date\n- Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances\n- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed\n- Maintain and update trial calendars and deadlines\n- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying\n\nQualifications:\n- Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in civil litigation\n- Proven trial experience is a must\n- Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail\n- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
