Position Overview

A growing, financially stable manufacturing and distribution company is seeking an experienced

Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join its team in a long-term, full-time capacity.

This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is comfortable managing full-cycle bookkeeping while also supporting general office administration and HR-related activities. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the General Ledger and assist with monthly financial statements.
• Process payroll using ADP or a similar payroll platform.
• Prepare sales tax filings and coordinate with external accounting professionals.
• Assist with year-end financial reporting and audit-related activities.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and financial planning.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting and related records.

Office Administration

• Support day-to-day office operations and administrative activities.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Assist with HR-related functions, including onboarding, benefits coordination, and employee records.
• Maintain organized company records and documentation.
• Prepare reports and assist management with special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience .
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software .
• Hands-on payroll processing experience; ADP experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Norwalk, Connecticut . The role requires regular interaction with management, employees, vendors, and external accounting professionals.
