Physical Therapy Assistant PRN Job Summary: Warren Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work on a Per Diem (PRN) basis in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Warren, OH. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our patients, helping them achieve their goals and regain independence. Responsibilities: Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders. Conduct physical therapy treatments, such as exercises, stretches, and modalities, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes and concerns to the physical therapist and other members of the healthcare team. Participate in patient education and training, providing guidance on self-care and disease management. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field. Current PTA certification in the state of Ohio. 0-1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
