General Manager Delta Sky Lounge ATLEmbark on a journey of excellence as the General Manager at Delta Sky Lounge ATL. This role offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of a revolutionary hospitality venture that sets new standards in lounge hospitality. As the General Manager, you will ensure the account operates within the approved budget while surpassing client expectations. You will build and nurture strong relationships with employees, guests, and the client, as well as collaborate effectively with other departments. Your leadership will be crucial in advancing the professional growth and development of the entire team, fostering seamless interdepartmental cooperation, and aligning the dining service department with the facility's operational strategy.Key Responsibilities:Participate in employee meetings, reviews, and training programs.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.Maintain food costs while ensuring quality standards.Establish and maintain good rapport with staff, clients, guests, and other departments.Manage financial reporting, sales reports, P&L reports, annual budgets, and cash handling.Analyze and create trends for financial data.Manage purchasing and inventory controls.Plan menus in consultation with chefs.Ensure knowledge of HACCP controls and proper storage and use of food.Requirements:Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experienceFive to ten years food service experience, including five years' experience at the management levelFine dining, Michelin Star, and Forbes service and leadership experience is HIGHLY preferredExperience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation and succession planningProven track record to achieve company goals in compliance with company/client policies and proceduresExcellent leadership and organizational skills, and must possess attention to detailSupervisory, scheduling, training and coaching skillsEffective problem solving and conflict management skillsAbility to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptionsExperience in food purchasing, food costs and inventory controlAbility to create budgets, flash reports, financial targets and forecastsMust be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of foodMonitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and servingExceptional business etiquette and client relationsManages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlinesConformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behaviorExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPointServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus
