Job Overview A law firm seeks a Tax Associate in Richmond, VA, with a demonstrated interest in tax practice. The ideal candidate will have experience or coursework in pass-through entities and corporate tax. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment. Duties Provide legal advice on tax-related matters. Assist with federal tax controversy cases. Draft and review legal documents related to tax law. Collaborate with other legal professionals on complex tax issues. Requirements Experience in pass-through entity and corporate tax. Excellent academic achievement. Superb writing and communication skills. Federal tax controversy experience is a plus. CPA background is strongly encouraged. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. LL.M in Tax is a plus. Certifications CPA certification is advantageous. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
