12-hour shifts with day and night options, requiring weekend availability as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic/Neuro unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in orthopedic patients, managing PCA pumps, and working effectively in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and neuro patients.
• Monitor patient progress and implement appropriate interventions.
• Manage PCA pumps and assist with IV fluids as required.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in orthopedic nursing and familiarity with PCA pumps.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
