We value individuals who bring warmth and confidence, along with grit and determination, to our team.Position Summary: The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Management team throughout the full project life cycle, from initial planning and estimating through project execution and closeout. This role provides critical coordination and administrative support across estimating, project documentation, plan management, scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, and project closeout. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with Project Managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards.Key Responsibilities:Estimating SupportPlan ManagementDocument Control and PermittingBudget and Cost ManagementScheduling and CoordinationGeneral Project SupportKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesOne to three years of construction industry experience preferred.Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related discipline preferred.Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or in a similar construction support role preferred.Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to ethical conduct.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.Customer-service mindset with a professional and solutions-oriented approach.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Highly detail-oriented with strong document management and organizational skills.Effective verbal and written communication and active listening skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Ability to learn and effectively utilize company project management, estimating, and other technology platforms.Other Essential RequirementsMaintain regular and reliable attendance.Interact respectfully and professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, co-workers, and the public.Comply with all company policies, procedures, and personnel practices.Review, acknowledge, and comply with Chinburg Builders, Inc.
