Pay Rate: $18.40 - $19.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 05:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, amenities, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, assisting with visitor direction, policy compliance, and incident documentation. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security‑related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
