Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities Generate retail sales using a passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand Verizon network. Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution. Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions. Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory. Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in Verizon products and services. Opportunities to engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance). Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods. Experience working in a commission‑based environment (preferred). Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions (preferred). Customer service experience (preferred). Compensation and Benefits Base pay 16.00 to 21.00 per hour (or 20.67 per hour for the listed location), plus up to 18,000 per year in individual‑based commissions. Top performers can earn additional commissions up to 14,500 or more, allowing total annual earnings of 65,000 to 75,500. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
