Step into the role behind San Francisco’s most iconic events . We are seeking a high‑volume Catering Kitchen Manager to lead commissary and off‑site operations for cultural premieres, Fortune 500 galas, stadium activations, and large‑scale festivals across the Bay Area.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee commissary prep and off‑site kitchen set‑ups for high‑volume events.
- Direct kitchen staff and logistics teams to ensure seamless transport, assembly, service, and teardown .
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and labor standards.
- Control inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor labor and food costs to meet budget goals.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff.
- Step in hands‑on when needed — from line cooking to full kitchen oversight.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years hospitality experience plus 3+ years kitchen management in large‑volume catering.
- Proven ability to run off‑site kitchens at scale (stadiums, convention centers, cultural venues, festivals).
- Certified Food Safety Manager (CA) and compliance expertise.
- Strong organizational, cost control, and vendor management skills.
- Positive leadership with clear communication; Spanish or Mandarin a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules.
- Able to commute within 50 miles of San Francisco.

- Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per annum
