Community Association Attorney

This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000–$130,000. Based in Northern New Jersey, we are a diverse multi‑practice commercial law firm known for its client‑focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The Community Association Practice Group is expanding and seeking an Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated governance contract collections and litigation matters across condominium homeowner and community associations. This role is an outstanding opportunity for a recent law school graduate judicial law clerk or early‑career attorney who values direct client exposure meaningful responsibility and long‑term professional stability within a supportive firm environment. Responsibilities Draft and revise governing documents bylaws and association policies while reviewing and negotiating contracts and vendor agreements and advising community association boards on governance and operational matters with accuracy and efficiency Attend and participate in board meetings coordinate board elections and governance procedures and build trusted long‑term client relationships while gaining hands‑on legal experience across multiple practice areas Handle collection and enforcement matters involving delinquent association accounts while supporting and managing litigation matters including motion practice hearings trials and appeals as necessary Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment while developing practical legal skills and managing meaningful matters under the mentorship of experienced community association attorneys Qualifications JD from an ABA‑approved law school; New Jersey Bar admission preferred and Pennsylvania Bar admission welcomed; pending bar admission acceptable Recent law school graduates current or former judicial law clerks and attorneys with 0–3 years of experience encouraged to apply; interest in real estate governance litigation contracts and community association law preferred Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced high‑volume environment Strong legal research writing and analytical skills with excellent communication and client service abilities and a self‑motivated detail‑oriented approach to independent and collaborative work Join Us This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career attorney seeking hands‑on community association work, mentorship and long‑term stability.
