Industry Non-Profit Organization Management Type Non Profit About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead and develop a high-performing construction team within its residential construction division. The successful candidate will be a purpose-driven leader with a strong background in construction, particularly in residential homebuilding, and will be responsible for delivering projects efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality. This role emphasizes the cultivation of strong subcontractor and volunteer engagement, as well as ensuring that construction efforts have a meaningful and lasting impact within the communities served. The VP of Construction will partner with the President, leadership team, and the Board to shape strategy and growth, translate mission-driven goals into construction and development plans, and drive collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and execution. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have at least 15 years of progressive construction experience, with a deep expertise in construction operations and project delivery. A strong preference is given to candidates with a background in residential homebuilding, but those with commercial construction experience will also be considered. The role requires a proven ability to manage and deliver high-volume, concurrent projects, and experience in managing budgets, contracts, and subcontractor coordination. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have a strong commitment to the values and mission of the organization.
