About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Residential to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for its residential property portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Regional Property Managers, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction. This executive role involves serving as the primary liaison between executive leadership and the regional management team, driving organizational goals, and ensuring the consistent execution of company policies across all residential communities. The VP of Residential will also be tasked with developing and implementing operational strategies, monitoring portfolio financial performance, and leading initiatives to improve resident retention, leasing performance, and overall portfolio value. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, property management, real estate, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive residential property management experience, including at least 5 years in a multi-site leadership role, is required. The role demands a candidate with strong financial acumen, a thorough knowledge of relevant regulations, and proven leadership, coaching, and change management experience. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are essential, as is proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office. The VP of Residential will also be expected to travel regularly between residential communities and to be physically capable of property inspections.
