A great opportunity for an attorney looking for remote part time work!
- Conduct legal research and analyze applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify legal and business risks within contractual terms.
- Advise stakeholders on contract interpretation and compliance requirements.
- Support contract lifecycle management processes.
- Assist with dispute resolution and contract-related litigation matters.
- Review company policies and procedures for legal compliance.
- Collaborate with internal business teams, procurement, finance, and external counsel.
- Maintain accurate legal documentation and contract records.
- Stay current on changes in laws and industry regulations affecting contracts.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience insurance defense/construction defect (requirements may vary).
- Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial transactions.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating complex legal agreements.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
