Assistant Program Director

Summit Behavioral Services

Assisting the director in growth and implementing systems for Summit Achievement Center – North

QUALIFICATIONS

Experiences: Supervisory experience for two years required. Experience with children receiving services in a special education setting preferred. Training in applied behavior analysis (ABA) preferred. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. The ability to instruct adults and model appropriate interactions with students is required. Essential criteria include time management, multitasking capabilities, and strict attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Purchasing Inventory of office supplies for team Provide purchase list to Delvin or purchase said supplies online Provide classroom purchase lists to director to review prior to purchase Expense reporting and reimbursement from office manager Manage classroom lead budget New Hire Schedule interviews Conduct interviews with director or director designee New hire paperwork to office manager Orient them to the building/job Track and administer with leadership team 60-day probationary period Building Staff Capacity Help identify skill deficits in employees/class teams and develop training strategies with director and/or admin team Oversee implementation of action-based solutions Ensure implementation of bi-weekly class lead meetings led by assistant director Reviewing staff training checklists with class lead, behavior and/or crisis leads Reviewing leads’ knowledge of student behavior plans Discussing staffing and student concerns to report to director Conduct monthly fidelity checks/observations of staff training checklists with class leads within rooms Mentoring class leads in conflict management, training, delivering feedback, etc. Maintain organization of staff training checklists provided by class leads Attend at least one morning meeting led by class leads on bi-weekly basis Ensure implementation of class lead led trainings Maintenance of Daily Activities Manage Google calendar and T-Sheets Accurate attendance tracking with color coding in calendar Enter staff requested time off no later than 24-hours prior to requested date Track paid time off for direct report staff Track approved/earned comp time Determine eligible staff for perfect attendance reward per month Edit time entries for direct report staff Point of contact with director for direct report employees Transportation coordinator point of contact Report car issues to transportation coordinator Notify parents and agency when schedules change Building point of contact with Eastbrook and coordinate general repairs Compliance with Regulations and Internal Policies Parent/Student administration of policy Employee administration of policy Deliver corrective feedback Completion of documentation for verbal warnings and write-ups for director review Maintaining organization of documentation for corrective actions Review staff policy with new hires, maintain signed acknowledgement of receipt/review of policy manual; provide updates/changes to team members Annual Reviews Track and administer completion within the month reviews are due Pay change convos (with Dan/cc director) Report status change to office manager Event Planning and Coordination Oversee team building planning team Rotate staff participation on team Purchase any materials for events Meet once per month with team Other delegated duties Support admin/leadership teams as instructed by director #J-18808-Ljbffr Summit Behavioral Services
