Talent Acquisition Sourcing SpecialistThe Smilist is seeking a proactive and resourceful Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on identifying, engaging, and building relationships with passive candidates across a variety of clinical positions (Doctors and Registered Dental Hygienists). Working closely with recruiters, you will develop talent pipelines, conduct strategic outreach, and help ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates to support our organization's growth.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and identify passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other sourcing tools.Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.Partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams to understand position requirements and ideal candidate profiles.Conduct initial outreach to prospective candidates through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.Generate candidate interest and schedule qualified candidates with recruiters.Track sourcing activity and maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).Continuously research new sourcing strategies, talent pools, and market trends.Assist with talent mapping and competitive intelligence initiatives.Support employer branding efforts through candidate engagement and networking.Qualifications1–2 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or headhunting.Experience sourcing passive candidates is required.Experience sourcing within the dental or healthcare industry is a plus, but not required.Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, applicant tracking systems, and other sourcing platforms.Strong research, communication, and relationship-building skills.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Preferred SkillsCreative sourcing techniques and Boolean search experience.Ability to identify and engage hard-to-find talent.Strong written communication skills with the ability to personalize candidate outreach.Collaborative mindset and a team-first attitude.What You'll BringCuriosity and persistence in finding exceptional talent.A positive, professional approach to candidate engagement.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.A passion for helping build high-performing teams through strategic sourcing.Position Details:Schedule/Location: Hybrid in Great Neck, NY or remote work arrangementsSalary: $65,000/year
