Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Acute Care (MedSurg) Duration: 22 Weeks Shift: 12 Hours Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required, with at least 1 travel assignment License: Must possess a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS required Must-Have: Experience with Meditech preferred but not required Description: - This position requires a strict 75-mile radius from the traveler's driver's license address to the facility. - A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required. - The unit typically has a ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights. - Nurse aides are present with a typical ratio of 1:8, generally up to 1:10 for sitters. - General shifts are from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. - Weekend work is required every other week, with holiday shifts as needed. - The unit does provide telemetry monitoring but is located in a different area. - The nurse may float to all acute care settings and cardiology as needed to care for medical patients. - Standard orientation includes 1 week, which incorporates EMR training, followed by 2 days of floor-specific orientation. - The working environment is described as safe and accommodating with various housing options available. - Please ensure all required certifications are valid and current. - The position offers guaranteed hours of 36 hours per week.
