Plant Controller

Pegasus Staffing Partners is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead plant-level financial operations and support strategic business initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance leader with strong operational finance experience and a background in manufacturing environments. The Plant Controller will play a key role in driving financial performance, improving operational efficiencies, and partnering closely with plant leadership to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities Oversee all plant-level financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis Partner with plant leadership to evaluate manufacturing performance, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and improve profitability Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with GAAP Conduct detailed analysis of production costs, inventory levels, labor, and material consumption Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes for the facility Support internal and external audit activities Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and applicable state and federal regulations Assess operational and financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies Develop, mentor, and lead plant accounting and finance staff Provide financial insight and recommendations to support operational decision‑making Drive continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and finance processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Prior manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational finance Experience with ERP systems required; Infor Syteline experience is a strong plus Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills CPA, CMA, or MBA highly preferredStrong leadership, communication, and business partnering abilities Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Preferred Experience Manufacturing plant finance leadership Inventory and standard cost accounting Variance analysis and KPI reporting Continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives Multi‑site or complex manufacturing operations exposure Why Apply?
