Assistant Vice President – Underwriting We’re thrilled that you are interested in joining us here at the Amynta Group! Responsibilities Assist Managing Directors and VPs in underwriting rights- and warranties (R&W) opportunities. Review submission materials and draft new business initiatives (NBI's) to present to senior team members. Draft insurance excess and primary policies and binders. Conduct due diligence to analyze risk to be insured, including reviewing asset and merger agreements, disclosure schedules, data room materials, and financial and operational records of prospective insureds, and preparing conference call agendas. Engage in marketing efforts with brokers. Clear conflicts with vetting counsel. Participate in underwriting calls to assist in drafting follow‑up actions. Ensure file completion, including completion of underwriting charts, rating files, and receipt of all subjectivities for policy issuance.
