Non-Destructive Testing Assistant

Nova Data Testing is seeking hard-working, dependable individuals to join our team as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Assistants supporting projects across the Southeastern and Northeastern United States. The Project Assistant works closely with NDT Technicians to support field inspections. Ideal candidates have experience in a trade or hands-on industrial environment and are eager to learn and grow in a specialized, in-demand field; however, prior experience is not required. We welcome motivated individuals who are willing to learn and work hard. This position offers both on-the-job and classroom training, providing a clear pathway to advance into a certified NDT Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Assist NDT Technicians with the setup and calibration of NDT equipment
• Travel to job sites as required to support project execution
• Support the execution of NDT procedures using methods such as visual inspection, ultrasonic testing, and magnetic particle testing
• Accurately record, document, and organize inspection results
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure related records are up to date
• Use power tools such as angle grinders and die grinders for surface preparation
• Follow all established safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant working environment
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by management
