Project Manager

Position Title: Project Manager. Wage: Based on Experience. Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has a great opportunity available for a Project Manager at a company in Mount Pleasant, IA. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact and liaison for assigned clients, overseeing the complete production process for direct mail campaigns from initiation through completion. This position coordinates project requirements across multiple departments, tracks timelines and milestones, ensures adherence to quality and postal standards, and maintains clear communication with clients and internal teams. The Project Manager translates client requirements into detailed production instructions and works proactively to resolve issues, minimize delays, and ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction. Project Manager Responsibilities: Utilize production timelines provided by the Scheduling Department to track project milestones and ensure timely completion Communicate with internal departments to monitor project progress and proactively address potential delays Coordinate the activation of new projects by submitting required paperwork to Scheduling Enter detailed print work orders outlining print, laser, and production specifications Ensure production proceeds smoothly and remains aligned with client requirements and established timelines Interpret client instructions and translate them into clear, actionable work instructions for internal teams Manage client inventory and serve as a liaison for internal and external communication Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support team and company objectives Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the project lifecycle Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing project updates and addressing questions or concerns Compare project quotes with sales proposals, identify discrepancies, and initiate re-quotes when necessary Prepare sales proposals and requests for quotes in the absence of Sales Representatives Ensure client expectations, specifications, and deadlines are clearly communicated and maintained throughout production Maintain a professional, responsive, and solution-oriented approach to client service Create package mock-ups based on client specifications while ensuring compliance with applicable postal regulations Review client artwork to ensure it meets manufacturing and production guidelines Submit artwork and instructions to the Project Engineer for pre-press processing Log client data files, layouts, laser mock-ups, and processing instructions into applicable IT systems Provide clear instructions to programmers and image designers, including requirements for variable data, codes, and scan lines Review black-and-white laser and color proofs to verify compliance with client specifications Inspect laser setups and client samples for accuracy and adherence to established quality standards Submit envelope artwork to the Postal Coordinator for review and verification of postal requirements Pre-bill projects within 24 hours of completion or mailing Use client-approved pricing to determine whether billing should be partial or final Identify and apply approved additional charges incurred during production Assist with training new Project Managers as needed Participate in relevant training sessions and seminars to remain current on industry practices, technologies, and processes Continuously develop knowledge of direct mail production, printing, data processing, and postal requirements Requirements for Project Manager: Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience 4+ years of project management or customer service experience required Business-to-business experience preferred Experience in commercial printing, direct mail, or a related production environment preferred Thorough knowledge of commercial printing, laser imaging, data processing, mail processing, postal regulations, and related terminology Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement solutions Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and processes Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and project success #J-18808-Ljbffr
