Assistant Director of HousekeepingLuxury Oceanfront Resort | Miami Beach, FloridaCompensationBase Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 / yearCompetitive full benefits package (details shared during the interview process)Role OverviewServes as the #2 in Housekeeping at a Forbes Five-Star luxury resort, reporting to the Director of Housekeeping. Ensures guest accommodations and all front- and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standard at all times. Oversees a team of approximately 40 across Room Attendants, House Attendants, public area attendants, and laundry, with 2 Assistant Managers of Housekeeping and 1 Assistant Office Manager reporting in. This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role.Key DeliverablesTeam leadership — hire, train, schedule, and manage performance for Room Attendants and House Attendants, including coaching and disciplinary action as neededQuality inspection — inspect completed rooms against brand standards; coach staff directly when standards are missedDaily operations — schedule daily work, track room/floor status, coordinate and follow up on work orders, and release checkout rooms for saleFloor oversight — monitor House Attendant performance, guest floor supply levels, and cleanliness of corridors, stairwells, elevators, and linen closetsRequired QualificationsForbes Five-Star luxury hotel or resort experience requiredPrior experience as an Assistant Director of Housekeeping, or a strong #2 / Housekeeping Manager, at a luxury propertyStrong leadership skills managing a diverse team, with a hands-on, lead-by-example approachOrganizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communicationBilingual Spanish/English strongly preferredExperience overseeing in-house laundry operations a plus (not required)Must be legally authorized to work in the United States - no visa sponsorship availableLocal candidates preferred; open to relocation for the right candidateFull property and role details shared during the interview process.
