\nTexas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner nighttime Hospitalist opening for a full time opportunity in Bedford, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.
\nPosition Details:
\n- \n
- PRN for weekdays and weekends nights (7PM-7AM) \n
- Preform history and physical exams on new and established patients. \n
- Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for evaluation of illness based on training and experience. \n
- Communicate with patients and family members concerning health related issues. \n
- Provide counseling and instructions to patients regarding health related issues. \n
- Document using EMR system. \n
- Participate in continuous quality improvement processes. \n
Requirements Needed to Apply:
\n- \n
- Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making \n
- Texas licensed Physician Assistant with a masters degree or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner \n
- ACLS certification \n
- 2 years of PA or NP experience in ICU/CVICU required. \n
