Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Role responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for a caseload of 12-16 seventh-grade ELA students
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate individual learning styles
• Progress monitor and assess student performance, adjusting instruction as needed
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to staff development
• Communicate regularly with families to report on progress and address concerns
• Uphold all district procedures and maintain compliance with special education regulations

This role offers competitive hourly compensation and spans a full school year, with a 37.5-hour workweek all within one building for added consistency.
