Work Environment\n

This position will be performed remotely, enabling the LCSW to offer support and counseling to clients from the comfort of their home or remote setup. As an integral part of a community health clinic, the LCSW will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including medical professionals and addiction specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' counseling needs, focusing on their substance use and mental health struggles.

• Utilize DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to assess clients for substance use diagnoses and determine appropriate treatment levels based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate the substance use counseling component tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Design and facilitate client discharge and continuum of care plans to ensure an appropriate transition to ongoing support services.
\n
• Diligently document all counseling sessions, service delivery assessments, and follow-ups in the client's clinical record, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Manage an active caseload, maintaining up-to-date documentation and treatment planning as required.
\n
• Coordinate support services for clients and their families, recognizing and recording the various resources and assistance utilized.

• Engage with external referral sources, including legal representatives, educational institutions, and employers to support client recovery effectively.

• Facilitate timely interventions for crisis-related issues, employing a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach to foster client recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work predominantly with adults facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of challenges, including addiction recovery, trauma, and family dynamics. You will play a vital role in empowering clients to navigate their recovery journey by providing consistent therapeutic support and guidance.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The LCSW position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the attractive salary, employees are eligible for a full benefits package, which includes:
