Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations to identify client needs, develop appropriate treatment plans, and set measurable goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy, tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Collaborate closely with primary care providers, offering mental health consultations and support, and integrating mental health care into the overall treatment plan.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing training and supervision, staying current with best practices in mental health care and participating in team meetings for continued professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of adults, including veterans and individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As an LMHC, you will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing these issues, employing a compassionate approach to develop treatment plans that respect the diverse backgrounds of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• Proficient in computer applications for clinical documentation and virtual service delivery, demonstrating strong keyboarding and data management skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging between $60,000 and $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
