Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document medical histories, treatment goals, and progress throughout the treatment process.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are adaptable and client-centered, catering to the unique needs and circumstances of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies to enhance therapeutic engagement and client outcomes.

• Regularly assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, medical physicians, and other health professionals, to ensure holistic care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated capacity for effective therapeutic delivery; previous experience in mental health counseling is essential.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms, for efficient documentation and tracking.

• Strong understanding of the intersection between mental health and physical conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Commitment to adhering to the guidelines established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n
