Floor Manager

Hilltop Tavern, Woodway, TX Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Floor Manager to support daily operations at Hilltop Tavern. This role works closely with ownership and management to ensure excellent guest experiences, efficient restaurant operations, and a positive team environment. The Floor Manager helps oversee staff, maintain service standards, and ensure both restaurants operate smoothly during all shifts. Key Responsibilities Restaurant Operations Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations Ensure smooth service during busy shifts Monitor cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the restaurant Help manage opening and closing procedures Staff Leadership Support hiring, training, and coaching of staff Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff during shifts Help create a positive, team-focused work environment Address employee concerns and provide guidance when needed Guest Experience Ensure guests receive excellent service and hospitality Resolve guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently Maintain high standards for food presentation and service Administrative Support Assist with scheduling and shift coverage Help manage inventory and supplies Support daily cash handling and end-of-shift reporting Communicate important updates to staff and management Qualifications Associates degree OR previous restaurant or hospitality management experience required Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations is a plus What We’re Looking For A team leader who leads by example Someone who thrives in a busy restaurant environment A positive attitude and strong work ethic Passion for hospitality and great service Schedule Full-time days, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays Discover Hilltop Tavern, a vibrant tavern nestled in the heart of Woodway, Texas!
